Padmasree Gunnala
Padmasree Gunnala is born and raised in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. In the year 2005 after finishing her LLB and working as an advocate for few years, Padmasree found reviving a sick company more interesting and challenging than continuing her law profession. Growing up, nothing stopped her from displaying her passion and dynamism towards life. She was the first one in her community to hold Black belt in Karate and drove two-wheeler which was not at all a norm back then unlike today. Padmasree found love of her life Mr.Dayakar Gunnala and got married in 1992, has one kid who is pursuing education in engineering.
Padmasree’s journey towards establishing a career in Roto packing industry, was no silver platter. She had to go through her own share of ups and downs. Fighting through the odds Padmasree not only emerged as a successful women entrepreneur but ‘The only women entrepreneur in the Roto – Packaging industry in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh’. She was among the chosen few to be a part of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women’s programme along with Indian School of Business (ISB). She is one of the 400 entrepreneurs from India to get selected for Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017. Early this year, she was selected for Wal-Mart and Proctor and Gamble training among 20-woman entrepreneurs in whole India.
Ask her about her success mantra and she is quick to respond saying, “hard work.” She explains that there is no other alternative for hard work, quality and customer satisfaction while also acknowledging the tremendous support from her family.
Our History
Our Key Milestones
2005
In early 2005, two enthusiastic women entrepreneurs took a sick packaging industry and christened it as Mudra Flexible Printers and Laminators. Initially the company was started with a small unit mostly doing BOPP printing for woven sack bags, but in less than two years it was transformed into a full fledged Roto converting unit doing lamination jobs and reached it's annual production turnover.
2008
In April 2008 Mudra was it at it's lows. Due to an unfortunate fire accident the then company had lost most of it's assets and came down to ground zero.
The very same year, in a short period of time Mudra came back to "business as usual" with the help of Andhra Bank, Balanagar Branch; ALEAP (Association For Lady Entrepreneur Of Andhra Pradesh) and the support of family members. With the able guidance of Mrs.Padmasree Gunnala, Mudra is now expanded to a large unit with latest machinery and whole new location running successfully.
2009 (Award)
Received Certificate Programme for Women Entrepreneurs ISB awarded Best Business Plan Award.
2009
Mudra expands its customer base to most of the states in India including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orrisa.
2012
Mudra expands its horizon to International market. Currently Mudra has customers in African region including Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzenia. We also provide services to Germany, Srilanka & Nepal.
